Letter from the President
There are three kinds of people in this world:
People that see an abandoned animal in need and do nothing
to help it.
People that see an abandoned animal in need and rescue
and care for it.
People that see an abandoned animal in need, rescue
and care for it, and say, "how can I make sure there
are no more abandoned animals in need, and what can I
do to change things so this never happens again."
We started Animal Rescue and Care Network, Inc.
because we could no longer turn our backs on the
homeless animals we saw that were abandoned and
neglected. We made the decision to rise up and make a
difference for the silent members of our society that
cannot help themselves.
We now trap and fix up to 100 cats a year, feed over
600 cats a week, care for over 30 special needs cats
in our sanctuary, and adopt over 80 cats into loving
homes, annually.
We feel that every animal we rescue deserves a chance
in life and a loving, forever home. We proudly support
the No More Homeless Pets and No-Kill Movement.
We strongly believe in enabling others to make a
difference for the animals. We take the steps
necessary to educate the public on critical issues
that could save thousands of lives every year. Only
through education and empowerment can we begin to
change things for the better.
Our network of volunteers, rescue organizations, and
veterinarians act as change agents for those who
cannot speak. Through their tireless compassion and
dedication, they are able to save countless lives.
Most of our volunteers have full time jobs, families,
life obligations. Yet they share a common thread that
a person's true wealth is the strength they find
within themselves to do good deeds.
Most importantly, we realize that our efforts on
behalf of the animals would not be possible without
you. Your donations allow us to continue to run our
programs and services. We thank you, the members of
our wonderful community, for your support and concern
for the animals we all love.
